FitCheck Terms of Use

By downloading or using FitCheck (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

  1. License

    • We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own reference, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from.

  2. Reference information only — READ THIS

    • FitCheck provides fastener, drilling, tapping, clearance, heat-set, and related dimensional information for reference and convenience only. This information is compiled in good faith from published engineering conventions and standards, but:

      • We do not guarantee that any value is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific material, machine, tooling, or application.

      • Fastener fitment and hole sizing can affect the strength and safety of assemblies, including load-bearing and safety-critical ones.

      • You are solely responsible for independently verifying every dimension against the authoritative published standard and validating it with your own test parts before drilling, tapping, reaming, printing, machining, or assembling anything.

    • The App is a starting point for a qualified user's own judgment — not a substitute for engineering standards, professional advice, or your own testing.

  3. No warranty

    • THE APP AND ITS DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  4. Limitation of liability

    • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAKED BEAN LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OWNERS, AND OFFICERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, MATERIALS, TOOLING, WORKPIECES, OR FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR ITS DATA — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP.

  5. In-app purchases

    • FitCheck Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks saving and calibrating machines. Purchases are processed and governed by Apple or Google; pricing, refunds, and restoration are handled under their policies. Pro is tied to your store account and can be restored on your devices via **Restore Purchases**.

  6. Your content

    • Custom fasteners and machine profiles you create are stored on your device and remain yours. In this version the App does not upload them anywhere.

  7. Intellectual property

    • The App, its design, and its software are owned by Baked Bean LLC. The underlying dimensional facts are drawn from public engineering standards and are not claimed as our property; our compilation, presentation, and software are.

  8. Governing law

    • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

  9. Changes

    • We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
